Since May, the price of Technical MAP has been continuously rising and did not decrease as predicted in March. This is primarily due to two reasons.Firstly, large MAP markets like India and Brazil did not place orders in March, leading to a shortage and concentrated ordering now, which is driving up the price of TMAP.Secondly, the increasingly strict export inspection policies have extended delivery time. It now requires an inspection time of one month before shipping. This has led to a shortage of TMAP in the market and a consequent increase in price. 😥

The price of SOP remained relatively firm this week, with some manufacturers unwilling to take orders due to tight spot goods, controlling orders with high quotations.At present, the EXW price of processed Mannheim SOP (52, fully water-soluble powder) has reached around $428~$442 per ton, an increase of $7 per ton from last week;The CFR of resource-type SOP (50 powder) is temporarily stable at around $400 per ton.Manufacturers have no short-term sales pressure, with cost pressure, it is expected that the price will continue to remain firm.There are two main processes for producing SOP in the world: the first is secondary processing using potassium chloride as raw material (commonly known as processed potassium sulfate), such as Mannheim method and MOP method; the second is direct extraction of potassium sulfate from potassium-containing sulfate-type brine (commonly known as resource-type potassium sulfate), such as the soft potassium alum conversion method.#fertilizer #fertilizers #fertiliser #fertilisers #fertilizantes #fertilizantes #nitrogen #phosphate #agribusiness #MAP #APP #MKP #UP #DAP #iran #iranian #vietnam
